Are guests allowed to visit the exhibitions during my event?
The Museum’s second floor permanent galleries will be available for the first ninety (90) minutes of any Corporate or Non-Profit event held on the Museum’s second floor at no additional charge. We normally close all galleries during evening weddings as we would like all of the attention to be on the couple and their big day, however galleries may be opened for an additional charge.
Is parking available?
Public parking is conveniently located one block north of the Museum at Clark and LaSalle Streets. Enter on Stockton Drive. The secure, well-lit parking facility is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The lot can accommodate up to 460 cars.
Event guests may self-park in the parking lot. Upon entering or exiting the Museum, attendees may have their tickets validated at the front desk. The validated rate is $10.00 per vehicle for 24 hours.
If you would like to provide parking for your guests, you may purchase passes at $10.00 each. For hosted parking, guests self-park in the lot. We distribute parking passes at the event for guests to use upon their exit.
You may hire valet. We are happy to connect you with companies that work within the area.
Can I bring my own caterers?
We have a list of preferred catering vendors including Blue Plate, Food For Thought, Limelight, and Paramount Events. We also have a list of exclusive kosher caterers if your guests have dietary restrictions.
Do I need to rent AV equipment?
Most spaces feature built-in audiovisual equipment. Please connect with your coordinator to create a solution that works best for your event.
