Are you ready to rock ‘n’ roll?!
Cohosted by the Chicago History Museum (CHM) and School of Rock (SOR), Rock the Museum is a music festival that features some of the Chicago area’s most talented young musicians and highlights the city’s rich music history, all while raising funds for CHM’s education programs. Proceeds will support internships and help expand opportunities for young people to engage with history through research and inquiry, such as our Chicago Metro History Day program.
Join us at the Museum to enjoy original music by Emerging Artists, as well as covers performed by SOR House Bands:
- Emerging Artists performing original songs in 20-minute sets on our Main Stage
- Solo artists, duos, or trios performing in 20-minute sets on our Acoustic Stage
- School of Rock House Bands performing sets on our Main Stage
Guests will also have an opportunity to learn about music history through Chicago Metro History Day projects and activities with Wax Trax.
Ticket pricing details will be announced soon.
