The Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum invites you to step into the spotlight and celebrate the dazzling artistry, creativity, and cultural impact of drag in Chicago!
Join us for live drag queen performances, including a special tribute to iconic female impersonator Chilli Pepper, and a lively panel discussion emceed by Chicago nightlife entrepreneur Mark Liberson featuring:
- Mimi Marks, Miss Continental 1992
- Jim Flint, founder of The Baton Show Lounge and Miss Continental
- Mz Ruff N Stuff, Chicago’s Beauty Queen
- Owen Keehnen, historian
Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as music provided by Mister Wallace.
