Chamber Music Immersive is a new groundbreaking series where Music Meets History in collaboration with Magellan Arts. This newly curated series pairs extraordinary chamber music with the Museum’s themes, special events, and exhibitions enhanced by narratives and visuals.
Join us for a special holiday concert presented by Magellan Arts featuring Grammy Award–nominated violinist Philippe Quint and the Magellan Chamber Orchestra. The evening includes an exhibit of rare priceless instruments by Chicago’s legendary Stradivari Society, presented by Bein & Fushi, and a performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and J. S. Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins and Orchestra in D minor. Thirteen-year-old violin prodigy Katherine Schaufenbuel will pair with Quint on J. S. Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins.
