The Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum invites you to step into the spotlight and celebrate the dazzling artistry, creativity, and cultural impact of drag in Chicago!
The evening features Chicago nightlife entrepreneur Mark Liberson emceeing a lively panel discussion with an extraordinary lineup:
- Mimi Marks, Miss Continental 1992
- Jim Flint, founder of The Baton Show Lounge and Miss Continental
- Mz Ruff N Stuff, Chicago’s Beauty Queen
- Owen Keehnen, historian
- Maya Douglas, Miss Continental 1985 and extraordinary drag costumer
Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, music by Mister Wallace, and live drag performances along with a special tribute to iconic female impersonator Chilli Pepper.
$125 general admission; $100 Costume Council members. Limit 5 tickets per Costume Council member.
