Professional guide Wendy Bright’s tour of Marshall Field & Company (now Macy’s) brings together the history of Chicago’s legendary department store with the secret love life of its founder, as portrayed in Renée Rosen’s novel What the Lady Wants.

*Tour runs about 90 minutes, is entirely indoors, and involves stair climbing. Concludes upstairs at the Walnut Room on the 7th floor.
