Join Rolf Achilles, professor of historic preservation at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and author of Stained Glass in Houses of Worship, to explore sanctuaries that communities have shaped and reshaped. This specially curated bus tour visits beautiful and non-traditional sacred spaces. Stops include Quinn Chapel AME Church, home of Chicago’s oldest African American congregation, and Holy Cross Catholic Church, a historical fixture in Chicago’s Back of the Yards community.
