Luis Tubens was born and raised in Chicago and has worked in the Pilsen neighborhood for over fifteen years. He was an art educator at the National Museum of Mexican Art for ten years, then moved into his current role as an outreach coordinator for Cook County commissioner Jesús G. “Chuy” Garcia of the Seventh District. Tubens utilizes his art and political perspectives of Pilsen to create lively, in-depth walking tours.
