Discover the characters of nineteenth-century Chicago with Ursula Bielski, paranormalist and author of the newly released Haunts of the Devil. 19th Century Chicago was one of the most formative times and places in history. Meet the ghosts of the powerful personalities–supremely good and monstrously evil– who shaped the city during these dynamic times. You’ll learn about the ghost of Fr. Arnold Damen, who still protects the institutions he built on Roosevelt Road, learn of the phantom residue of the workers who built the Illinois and Michigan Canal, and discover the dreadful Curse of H.H. Holmes, whose “Murder Castle” still haunts those who visit the site of it today.

*Tour runs 2.5-3 hours and includes light walking

$40, $30 members
