Voices of Chicago: Immigration and Migration
Thursday, January 1
Saturdays, February 10 and March 24
Our professional development programs provide rich and unique experiences with history. Connect with the Museum’s exhibitions and resources. Engage with staff and experts. Walk away with materials and ideas for your classroom.
How have Chicago’s newest residents shaped the city we know today? Explore personal stories of those who made their home here through oral history, photographs, and documents. Consider how your students can tell community history.
We suggest attending both dates, but sessions can stand alone. Recommended for teachers of grades 3 to 12. Earn up to 6 PD hours.
Cost: $20 per session
