Tell Me More: Mainbocher’s Broadway Legacy

Join CHM curator of costume Petra Slinkard and Michael Cansfield, associate director of development at Lookingglass Theatre, as they recount Mainbocher’s extensive costume work for the stage. Nominated for a Tony Award in 1956 for The Great Sebastians, Mainbocher designed for dozens of productions and created striking looks for several leading ladies including Ethel Merman, Mary Martin, and Rosalind Russell. Light refreshments included.
