OUT at CHM: Quiet as a Riot
Wednesday, June 12
To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Stonewall riots, we’re taking a closer look at Chicago changemakers and the LGBTQIA liberation movement. Lifelong activist, filmmaker, and community organizer Mary Morten moderates the panel discussion between transgender diversity and inclusion expert Precious Brady-Davis, Chairman and Commissioner of Chicago’s Commission on Human Relations Mona Noriega, and executive director of Legacy Project Victor Salvo. Following the conversation, enjoy performances from Naysha Lopez and Lucy Stoole.
6:30 P.M. program, reception to follow. $20, $15 members and students
Major support for OUT at CHM comes from the Exelon Corporation with additional support from Robert Kohl and Clark Pellet and the Richard L. Ohlhausen Education Fund.
