On the Table with CHM
Tuesday, May 16 — Tuesday, May 16
How do you define civic engagement? How do you envision museums and communities working together? At the Chicago History Museum, our aim for this program is to bring new and different voices to the table to better understand what people want and envision for museums as socially relevant organizations.
As part of The Chicago Community Trust’s 2017 On the Table series, we invite you to take part in a conversation on the role museums can play in communities. Now in its fourth year, this annual initiative is designed to elevate civic conversation, foster new relationships, and create a unifying experience across the region. Thousands of Chicago-area residents will gather in small groups to discuss the challenges and opportunities we face.
The event includes a small drink and light bakery goods. This event is free to the public but capacity is limited, so reserve your spot today!
