See why Chicago was the epicenter of modern and streamlined design during the 1930s and ’40s for the entire country. Join CHM assistant curator Julius L. Jones on this design journey to witness where this history was made. See where the aesthetic and industrial legacies began, such as the Sears, Roebuck & Co. and Montgomery Ward & Co. warehouses, Northerly Island, and the Radio Flyer factory.

Tour runs 3.5 to 4 hours. Tour begins and ends at the Chicago History Museum.
