Celebrate this year’s FashioNext designers, Chicago fashion professionals, and local fashion schools. Teen designers from across the city took inspiration from Making Mainbocher: The First American Couturier and Snow by author Laura Ruby to create the garments in this year’s competition.
Free for teens, $5 suggested donation for adults
Live voting, red carpet photos, designer lounge, and viewing of Making Mainbocher: The First American Couturier. Refreshments and mocktails served. Enjoy tunes spun by DJ Betty.
Doors to the Robert R. McCormick Theater open. Seating is first-come, first-seated and limited to members of the general public.
Kathleen Haines Finley of the Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum, Laura Ruby, and Azeeza Khan will present the awards to the winners.
Swag bag pick up. Available for attendees 18 and under only while supplies last.
