The Chicago Metro History Fair has joined the Chicago History Museum, and we are offering an all-new VIP start to your school year! Attend a free Mini-Con to enjoy our exhibitions, engage in compelling content, and network with colleagues. Refreshments, resources, and raffle included.

We are Citizens, Too! Civic Engagement for Young Learners

Civics doesn’t start in high school! Shonda Ronen introduces new standards for civic engagement and shares ideas for making meaningful connections in your classroom. Ronen, a first-grade teacher in Hillsboro, Illinois, is elementary team leader for the Illinois State Board of Education Task Force to Revise the Social Science Standards. 3 PD Hours
