Deepening Our Understanding: Race and Racism in American Life

Saturdays, December 9 and 16, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Earn 6 PD hours.

This two-part workshop examines race and racism in the contexts of science, history, and contemporary life. In the first session hosted by The Field Museum, explore Looking at Ourselves: Rethinking the Sculptures of Malvina Hoffman. Discover strategies and resources that will help you incorporate these important issues into your instruction. This workshop is FREE, but registration is required. Educators must attend both sessions to receive full credit.
