CMFA 2020 Superstars Spotlight Series

Monday, September 14 — Sunday, September 20

For the past five years, the Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum has hosted the Chicago Men’s Fashion Awards, which honors the city’s best-dressed men as well as raise awareness and support for the Museum’s conservation and preservation efforts for its 50,000-piece costumes and textiles collection that includes pieces worn by former presidents and first ladies, sports stars, celebrities, and more.

While we’re unable to host an in-person event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re keeping the tradition alive by highlighting ten past winners who are giving back to the community in meaningful ways! The 2020 CMFAs will feature ten Superstars as a part of the CMFA Superstar Spotlight Series.

This year, the CMFAs will be a digital campaign to support and raise funds for the Costume Council. We’ll be highlighting Chicago’s fashionably generous men through a classic photoshoot by photographer Sandro Miller, images from which will appear on social media and in an email spotlight series. Every day starting September 14, two Superstar profiles will be featured on all of our platforms. Our fundraising efforts include a raffle to which all can purchase tickets.

Be a part of the spotlight! Follow the Costume Council on Facebook and Instagram to be a part of this virtual fundraiser that highlights charitable and fashionable men of Chicago.
