Bronzeville Walking Tour

Saturday, April 27

The Great Migration made its biggest impact on Chicago in Bronzeville, which became the center of African American culture from the 1920s through the 1950s. Join guide Bernard Turner on this tour that features stops such as the Walk of Fame, a collection of 91 bronze plaques embedded in the sidewalks along Martin Luther King Drive to commemorate more than 100 residents—past and present—who have made contributions to Bronzeville.
