The year 2020 is a pivotal one in our nation’s history. More than ever, the power of the people to vote in America bears great responsibility. Widespread news coverage, media wars, and a world of information overload pulls us in many directions. What does it mean to elect a president for all people? Emmy-winning news anchor and author Ali Velshi will ask thought-provoking questions and provide insights about the significance of the 2020 presidential election and how to decipher the conflicting information from the 24-hour news cycle.
Ali Velshi is an award-winning journalist, author, MSNBC Anchor, and Business Correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC. He has covered domestic, global and economic issues, including the spread and defeat of ISIS, the refugee crisis, the Iran nuclear deal, and the global financial crisis.
