BEHIND THE SCENES: In the Loop on Chicago’s Dark History
Tuesday, February 4, 2020 | 6:00 – 7:30 PM
On the L-Car in Crossroads at the Chicago History Museum

Join CHM and Al Walavich for an evening on CHM’s iconic L-Car for a discussion on the darker side of Chicago history.  Scary stories starting with Chicago serial killer H.H. Holmes and tourism at the time of the World’s Columbian Exposition will examine a steamy history of murder, vice, and crime in the period leading up to the gangster era.

Al Walavich is a life-long Chicagoan who has offered tours and programs for the CHM for nearly a quarter century.  Best known for his cemetery tours, Al has been one of CHM’s resident guides in Devil in the White City tours for 15 years.

Refreshments will not be provided at this event. Please plan accordingly.

This event is available for All Star members and Historical Alliance supporters who give $500+ to the Museum. Invitations are nontransferable. Thank you for your support!
