Description: David Garrard Lowe is a frequent
lecturer at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art & the Smithsonian
Institution in Washington, and is author of numerous books, including
Lost Chicago; Chicago Interiors; Stanford White's New York & Art
Deco New York. His articles have appeared in The New York Times,
The Wall Street Journal and House & Garden. He is President of
the Beaux Arts Alliance. Rudolph Ganz Recital Hall, 7th Floor,

Mr. Lowe's lecture is free, but seating is limited, so reservations are required. Please call 312-341-9668 for the lecture only.
Mr. Lowe's lecture will be followed by dinner served in the beautifully
restored Sullivan Room of Roosevelt University (formerly the Ladies'
Parlor of the Auditorium Hotel). Our meal will feature a seasonal
menu inspired by dishes of the period from the Auditorium Hotel
Dining Room. Appropriate dress is requested. Dinner is $60 per
