| As on some past anniversaries, in the centennial year the Society loaned items from its collections for display in local businesses, in this case the Continental Bank. Director Clement Silvestro presents a silver fire medal to Chicago Fire Commissioner Robert J. Quinn, whose hat is a century out of date and a few sizes too small. The exhibit case of relics behind them includes a book damaged by the fire. The Chicago Fire Academy is now named after Quinn. | |||
