| One part of the combined fire prevention and fire centennial activities was this demonstration of firefighting in Soldier Field. Here vintage equipment parades in front of a simulated burning building. In honor of the 125th anniversary, the Fire Department held special ceremonies by the 1864 Fireman's Monument in Rosehill Cemetery to pay tribute to the firefighters who perished in the line of duty. | |||
