Partner Event | Preserving Heirlooms and Histories
Saturday, June 3
Presented in partnership with the Gage Park Latinx Council Community Archive, join us to learn tips on recording oral histories, storing and maintaining digital materials, and caring for family treasures from photographs to manteles and other textiles. This FREE bilingual chat features CHM curator of civic engagement and social justice, Elena Gonzales, and director of collections Julie Wroblewski sharing the best ways to store and care for family history items, as well as a community dialogue on how to best help preserve Latino/e/x and local histories. We hope you can make it!
Free; RSVP appreciated but not required.
