Nurturing 21st Century Historians: Student Voice and Historical Narrative

Wednesday, July 6 — Thursday, July 7

Join us at the Chicago History Museum for this unique professional learning opportunity, which brings together the resources and staff of the Chicago History Museum and the New-York Historical Society. Discover digital and physical assets that center stories of marginalized communities, which you can incorporate into your inclusive curriculum. Try your hand at easily implemented strategies to uplift student voices in interpreting and responding to historical narratives. Connect with peers in a supportive environment, leave with a variety of high-quality resources, and energize your planning for next school year. Participants are highly encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet to the sessions.

4 PD hours per session

$25 per session or $40 for both sessions
