Guild Event | All the World is Beer

Thursday, September 28

Take a sip of history and learn how everyone’s favorite beverage helped build Chicago. The Guild of the Chicago History Museum invites you to join them at Metropolitan Brewing to learn from Liz Garibay, executive director of the Chicago Brewseum, and Laurin Mack, owner of Seipp Brewing Company. Mack’s great-great-great-grandfather Conrad Seipp founded this historic brand of beer, which was served during the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. Guests will hear these experts discuss Chicago’s rich beer history and brewery culture, enjoy appetizers, and sample historic brews. Participants must be 21+.

$80; includes hearty appetizers and two beers, plus a sample of Seipp’s historic brew
