We are open and ready to help you plan a self-guided field trip for grades 3 and up. At this time, we are not accepting on-site visit requests for kindergarten through 2nd grade students. Student groups are not required to show proof of vaccination. While masks are recommended and appreciated, they are no longer required. We recommend you follow your district and school guidelines regarding masking when planning for your Museum visit.

Crazy for Trains discovery bags

Play in the past on L Car No. 1 and the Pioneer Locomotive. Crazy for Trains self-guided discovery bags help young children explore transportation history through music, role play, and picture books. Discovery bags are free and available for use by teachers and chaperones during your visit. Free but advance reservations required. Use the field trip reservation form to reserve discovery bags for your group.

Each bag includes:
